A special interactive Feeltone Music instrument for children age 0-6
that can be used in many settings, preschool, kindergarten, Music Therapy, private praxis and at home. With an easy to play MONOLINI monochord and 2 Kalimbas.
The Singing Dolphin invites you to a joyfull journey through the ocean of sound. MAPIPO inspires you to dream, relax , to play and to make music together.The interaction between the caretaker and the child creates a space of Sound and vibration and embraces the child with a feeling of security, trust.
While the child can lay down and relax inside the Dolphin and listen and feel the soothing sounds and melodies of the Monochord and the sweet sound of the Kalimba, played by the caretaker.
The slatted frame and water proofed mattress and the wooden Dolphin form gently transfer the sound wave and vibration so the children can feel the vibration in their bodies. This invites them to relax, calm down and getting ready to nap. We recommend to always have the care taker with the small children and Mapipo and not let the children sleep inside the music instrument unattended.
Older kids can explore the instruments together in a group. Storytelling can be elaborated with the added sounds of the monochord and the Kalimba. The children can take turns playing MAPIPO for each others.
