Pocket Kalimba on a cherry block
These high quality, small-sized Pocket Kalimbas is made of a massive resonating body of cherrywood (or mahogany) and metal tongues. It has a lovely, not so loud sound and is easy to play with both thumbs. You can lay it on a drum for more volume. Made in Germany.
The Kalimba is the instrument of history tellers from South Africa. It is also called thumb piano, Mbira, or Sanza.
