American Indian flutes
These flutes sound magical! And they are easy to play - (no previous knowledge necessary. Setup for 5 (pentatonic) or 6 tones (diatonic). High craftsmanship made in USA.
The flutes have a fixed scale, however the separate tones can be modified to half tones by adjusting the amount of air. This gives you more possibilities than a recorder.
The high craftsmanship and inviting character of the flute encourage even the beginner to improvise. The flutes are tuned in pentatonic minor scale, this is easier for beginners. But you can unwrap a 6th hole and play in a diatonic minor scale. Playing with 6 holes is more difficult. This can be studied with the fingering-chart in the booklet. The 5-hole layout is pentatonic and. Comes with an instructional booklet and DVD in English.
The secret of these flutes is that they are a kind of transverse flute, which is played like a recorder. The air moves from the mouthpiece under the bird totem. There the air is compressed and flows over the labium. Tip: The flute should be played at a right angle to the body otherwise the opening of the bird totem collects humidity from the breath and the tune is smothered. Use normal flute cleaning pipes on both sides.

I improvise with the native American flute at the grave of my mother. I breathe my sorrow into the wind, the sound breaks and starts to sing again softly. My breath and the wind become one. A friend. | ![]() |

Native American flute. After a long summer day, which barely gave me a moment to get fresh air, I went to the river Lippe. It is a calm place that I visit often and the evening breeze brought cool air. I picked up my flute and started to play, improvising. After a while, I noticed that in the distance a woman had settled down at the shore, too. Later when I stopped playing, I asked her if I had disturbed her space. She said no, not at all, she had followed the magical sound and sat down to listen, as she did not wish to break the spell. W erner Worschech, Sound Therapist and Musician, Bottrop | ![]() |
